Paden City officials are asking residents to conserve water until further notice due to an equipment issue at the city’s water treatment plant.
Mayor Hochstrasser confirmed that a pump failure has impacted the system’s ability to meet normal water demand. City crews are actively working to repair the issue and restore full capacity as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, residents are encouraged to limit non-essential water use to help maintain adequate service throughout the community. At this time, no estimated timeline has been provided for when repairs will be completed.
Additional updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
